The real estate industry is in the midst of rapid change, here in Albuquerque and across the country. The RealABQ Real/Smart/Value Program anticipated these changes years ago and decided to get ahead of them.

Simply, for many years the residential real estate industry charged sellers and buyers too much. Technology streamlined and automated the process of listing and marketing homes. This sharply reduced an agent’s workload, but costs and commissions essentially stayed the same. That’s no Bueno.

RealABQ Cost Savings

So, I began charging more reasonable and transparent fees back in 2018. That’s the reason I became an independent Albuquerque real estate brokerage – to do the right thing. I’ve saved my sellers a considerable amount of money in commission fees and I’ve rebated my buyers some of the high cooperative commissions the industry insisted they pay. I’m upfront and very clear with my clients what I charge, why I charge it and what they get in return.

I save my sellers, on average, over $5,000 in commissions and costs compared to the big box industry brokerages. I also provide more personalized, full spectrum service. For my buyers, RealABQ made substantial contributions at the closing table to reduce their closing costs and that’s something the big boxes simply wouldn’t do. My process is going to change now, as our industry is finally being forced to treat both sellers and buyers more equitably. But I’ll continue to save you significant money at the closing table compared to the big box brokers.
