Jim Belushi & the Board of Comedy – Popejoy Hall.  May 1st, 3:00 p.m. $20 – $60.

Born To Be Blue – A Chet Baker Story – The Guild. May 3rd, 4:30 p.m. 
A blend of fact with fiction, this is the story of the jazz great’s attempt at a comeback from a washed up career and personal life at a key moment in the 1960’s.  Serial Mom – A John Waters Mother’s Day Special! – May 8th & 9th , 4,6,8:00 p.m. Writer/director John Waters offers an outrageous satire of suburban life with this hilarious black comedy about a Baltimore woman who’s the ideal wife and mother, except for her habit of killing people who annoy her. Dick Dale – Sister Bar. May 9th, 8:00 p.m., $30
Dick Dale, king of the surf guitar, brings his groovy music to ABQ’s Sister Bar.  Put on your surf threads and get down with the guy who started it all. Sister Bar

Eric McFadden – Low Spirts – May 13th, 9:30 p.m., $10
Eric McFadden, a favorite here in ABQ, comes with his trio to entertain us fresh from Jazz Fest.  Check out this versatile guitarist. Low Spirits

Cheech and Chong – Rt 66 Legends Theater. May 14th, 8:00 p.m. $70 – $28.
Everyone’s favorite stoners bring their crazy humor to the Duke City for a night of laughs.  This is an 18+ show. Rt 66

Taj Mahal – ABQ Museum Amphitheater – May 27th.  8:30 p.m., $25 – $50 (concert only), $150 Outpost Performance Space fundraiser which includes full catered dinner (6:30 p.m.). 
Legendary Grammy winning composer, multi-instrumentalist, and vocalist, Taj Mahal,one of the most prominent and influential figures in late 20th century blues and roots music, brings his trio to ABQ for a great night of fantastic blues. Support Outpost and come out to this night of great music under the stars. Albuquerque Little Theater – Hairspray – May 27th – June 16th, $14 – $24.
The Broadway version of John Waters screenplay comes to Albuquerque.  Set in 1962 Baltimore, this winner of 8 Tony Awards is sure to entertain you with laughter, romance and great tunes. ABQ Little Theater
